The IWA International Strategic Asset Management Forum, held in Belgrade, Serbia, on 18th November 2021, was initiated and organized by IWA SAM Specialist Group, GIZ ORF MMS team and UTVSI – the Serbian national association for water technology and sanitary engineering.
Over 100 participants from the water sector joined the event in Belgrade in person and more than were 40 connected online. They were coming from 20 countries (all 6 countries from SEE, Germany, Portugal. Cyprus, Austria, USA, UK, etc.) and 60 organizations (Regulatory institutions, public utility companies, etc.).
On the Agenda, there were 4 sessions with 3 speakers each – one Keynote session and 3 separate sessions with focus on (1) Infrastructure Asset Management and Climate Resilience, (2) Digital Technologies and AM Advanced Solutions and the (3) AM Implementation Experiences and Long-term Investment Planning.
